Chris Baynes & Associates is a full-service residential real estate team based in Wilmington, North Carolina, working with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage. The team serves New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick Counties, with clients ranging from first-time buyers to luxury and waterfront buyers, investors, vacation-home buyers, corporate relocations, and estate sales. Commercial real estate is referred out to trusted partners.

Chris Baynes has been in real estate since 1996 and licensed as an NC real estate broker since 2002 (license #197154), with more than 1,000 transactions closed and more than $221 million in MLS-recorded sales volume. He holds the Certified Global Luxury Specialist designation through Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, along with the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Investor Agent Specialist (CIAS), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), and Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) designations. He spent 16 years, from 2009 to 2025, owning and operating a property management company, which shaped the advice he gives buyers, sellers, and investors today on rental operating costs, tenant behavior, and property condition.

The team, co-owned and operated with Angela Baynes and rounded out by agents Victoria Lisinski and Erica Sylvester, has won the Star News ShorePicks Best Realtor award seven years running, 2020 through 2026, and nine times overall. More than 80% of the team's business comes from past-client referrals. Sellers who list with the team can cancel the listing agreement at any point if they're unhappy, with no conditions attached.
